Small Laminar Flowhood V2 - 270x200mm - 10.5"x8" - Mycology/Tissue culture

For the price, I was expecting a more professional piece of equipment with perhaps metal table insert but what I got was a tiny cheap plastic set up that looked like something you would buy for 20 bucks at the local drugstore. I was very disappointed.

The product was great, and I’ll definitely be buying again from this store; sadly it arrived with a (relatively minor) crack, but i’m sure the shipping was at fault more than the store.

My first impression was great, it seems durable and the fan is very powerful it actually moves it around sometimes. This is the perfect size for a beginner or someone who doesn’t have very much space. Very satisfied

Would definitely recommend if your looking for a small laminar flow hood to get you started, at a reasonable price might i add, although the larger one would have probably been better for my needs but regardless im 100% satisfied with it overall.

Have poured over a hundred plates with this now and lots of transfers, no contamination at all. It's quite small so you need to be careful with your movements but perfect for my needs.

My favorite thing about this flow hood is it's modular design. Flow hoods are often over a grand which puts them out of reach for most. This is smaller than average but it's big enough for most mycological tasks like making spore swabs or innoculation, and of course you have the option of adding more units to it to increase size. I'm happy with my purchase the design and functionality are brilliant and I'd definitely recommend this product.

Well built and very strong fan .the light helps with transfers and all of my transfers have been sterile so far .

Amateur "mycologist" here. This product has clearly been well designed and executed. Packaging was very good. So far, I have inoculated several jars of grain and plates with 0% contamination. Somewhat small BUT love the ability to upgrade with the modular design. So happy with this purchase. Thank you!
